The Catfish Blues Band

The Catfish Blues Band is a Corporate/Private Event Band in the Texas Coastal Bend that is comprised of a group of professional musicians with a commitment to playing only the blues and blues rock genres.

Frank Butler is the band leader and contact to book an event. Frank is a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Publishers) and a standing member of the Los Angeles Blues Society, a prior owner of a blues club in California and as a blues guitarist in public and corporate/private blues bands on the West Coast. He has the experience to make sure your event flows smoothly whether it be a big corporate fundraiser or a smaller private event.

As for the Catfish Blues Band, it is comprised of a pool of hand-picked pro musicians from local and Austin-based talent who will perform at the events. Each show is designed around your event budget, timeline and specific requests.  We are not a bar band and we do not record or post any footage or still photography of your events on the internet. We only use footage of our own public concert events for marketing purposes. Our shows are turn-key and we provide sound with an engineer to keep the levels where you want them. We load in, set up, sound check prior to the event’s start,  perform and then load out after we are done.  Just inquire with your specific requests and date of the event and you will receive a quote to fit your budget.
